27 Perkins St
BRIDGEWATER

Learn about our building's history below:

Step into the enchanting world of Fun Factory, where history and fun collide to create a unique and unforgettable experience! Our name is a playful nod to the rich history of our building, which has undergone a fascinating transformation over the years.

Originally built as a storage building for the McElwain, W. H. Shoe Manufacturing Company, our building has a storied past that dates back to its days as a part of the train station and later as a feed store. Despite facing adversity in the form of a devastating fire, the building was rebuilt and eventually acquired by McElwain, W. H. Shoe Manufacturing Company.

Today, Fun Factory stands as a vibrant and dynamic space that pays homage to its industrial roots. As you explore our premises, you can imagine the workers that would have been scurrying about. The back of the building still has remnants of old conveyor belts that were once used to transport materials from the basement to the first floor still visible and we hope to someday incorporate them for our guests to admire.

Step back in time as you immerse yourself in the nostalgia of days gone by, while enjoying a modern-day playground filled with excitement and joy. From interactive play areas to engaging activities for all ages, Fun Factory offers a one-of-a-kind experience that blends the charm of the past with the thrill of the present.

Join us at Fun Factory and discover the magic of our historic building, where every visit is a journey through time and a celebration of fun, laughter, and cherished memories. Come and be a part of our story as we continue to write new chapters in the legacy of our beloved Fun Factory!
